The Hanover Ag BRC Invitational presented by Steinbach Feeds brought two days of heart-pounding action to Grunthal on August 15th and 16th. With many of the top riders in the BRC as well as mutton busting for the first time and the return of the Cowboi Cole, drawing a standing-room-only crowd on Friday night.

The opening night featured successful rides from top contenders in the BRC standings, including the #1 ranked Holden Atkinson and #2 ranked Alison Trindade, alongside Mason Hamilton, Braxton Rowe, Kaden Piper, and Austin Paley. By the end of the night, it was a close contest between Holden and Alison. Holden delivered an impressive 164.5 on two bulls, but Alison edged him out with a 165.5 score, giving him a slight lead going into day two.

Friday night saw successful rides once again from Holden and Alison, both determined to defend their spots at the top of the BRC rankings. They were joined on the leaderboard by Armando Davila, Fabian Dueck, and seasoned rider, Aaron Roy. The pressure was on, and while Holden and Alison only managed to stay on one of their two bulls, Aaron Roy seized the opportunity. He became the only cowboy to ride 2-for-2 on Friday, claiming the top spot of the day with 165 points on two bulls.

Despite Aaron’s impressive performance, it was Alison Trindade’s 165.5 score from Thursday that ultimately crowned him the event winner. In a thrilling conclusion, the top three placings were separated by just one point—Alison with 165.5, Aaron with 165, and Holden with 164.5—highlighting the razor-thin margins that defined this competition.

Congratulations to all the competitors, and especially to the BRC newcomer, Alison Trindade, our event winner!
